Can't stay long, I'm presently duelling the People's Republic of China over my right to log into a secure server with an RSA fob.
$HUI looks a bit weak, GLDX backed down from its EMA(7). Look at the top formation in $HUI in April; we might just be at the tail end of another of those. I guess the positive might be that we could spiral back into a commodity collapse with advancing gold price.
Because of the uncertainty, and the newfound profits in my account, I've cashed up a tiny bit... as promised, the $10K of RIO that I bought a few days ago for $1.99 has been sold back to the overemotional bozo on the BVL for $2.27.
Estrella is terribly weak today, with a fair number of iceberg orders under 0.80. That stock is supposed to be worth something, right? If you feel that way, now seems a better time to load up than when a certain rogue blogger called it a buy and it shot up to $1.10.
US Silver indeed is back over 0.58. Hope you're all loaded up for its skyrocket to $1! :-)
Nothing written or implied on this blog should be taken as investment advice, an inducement to buy or sell securities, or anything other than the insane ramblings of an anarchist sociopath who dreams of a dystopian future where giant wardroids drive over piles of human skulls.
Los. Retardados de San Isidro should be the name of a rock group. Entonces, Gozo legend su blog diariamente. Lleno de RIO, GOZ, FVI, y, crealo o no, VEM. Una locura!
ReplyDeleteI've followed Vena, and all I can say is that god must hate them. They came out with a uranium news release, so he destroyed Fukushima. Then they decided to talk about their other Peru projects, so god elected Humala. Now they're starting up a zinc mine, so god just cratered the price of zinc.
ReplyDeleteAnd I predict that the minute they come out with good results for their silver property, god will send the price of silver down to $9 again.
I think it's because Juan Vegarra used to work at Microsoft, and god hates Microsoft. He needs to repent immediately and seek absolution. You might think I'm just joking, but seriously, think about it.
It fits observations so far. That's what you scientists need from a theory, no?
ReplyDeleteThought: Is this why God created Google?
Larry Page and Sergey Brin created Google.
ReplyDeleteA scientist looks at the existing data, designs a theory to explain that data, then conducts an experiment to verify the data. My experiment is to wait for the silver drill results from VEM and see the price of silver collapse.
Not that I'm a scientist either. But I'm definitely an empiricist.
ReplyDeleteYes -can't refute your fact based observations. And to top it off they just lopped off what appeared to be a promising prospective gold property to Forrester. Of course you are prognosticating on the price of silver so we'll see what happens there. And, with respect to zinc, it may come back as supply side tightens- who knows. The situation with Vena is so bleak that I am starting to really like it even more than ever, particularly as the price keeps declining. It's like an ugly woman-the more I drink the more I don't care. And maybe when I wake up she'll be gone or transformed. Meanwhile I am still at the bar drinking my pisca sours.
ReplyDeleteOf course forgot to mention that if you are such an empiricist, how can you believe in God? Have you seen him or have you been served proof? In addition the question of why you would invoke religion into an investment decision thought process?
ReplyDeleteCONO!
I don't believe in God. I'm a Satanist. Though not a very good one.
ReplyDeleteThe "god" referred to above in the stuff about Vena above can be taken as a sort of deistic personification of fate, or whatever - except that it intervenes in human affairs, in this case specifically by demonstrating that it hates Vena.
Invoking religion in an investment decision is no worse than believing what some newsletter writer tells you. Probably also no worse than equating an investment vehicle with an ugly chick you meet while very drunk. :-)
I recently came up with the idea of adding guava nectar to vodka & tonic. It's really very nice.
Even when the mouth lies, the way it looks still speaks the truth.
I am proud to report that I have never slept with an ugly chick. Never. It was against my religion. Anathema!
ReplyDeleteNow, getting back to newsletter writers, you should know that I don't blindly take anybody's word for shit. If I invest more than a bushel worth in any stock, then significant diligence has taken place on my part, like reading you blog!! Now there's a hardy har har! If you could only see my mouth now.
Newsletter writers: Yup, gotta agree. The trick is to make one of the easiest jobs in the world look difficult. For example I try to do that by working way late Saturday evenings on the Weekly to impress my wife, who then points out that i do bog all Monday thru Thursday bar throw incendiary devices at dumbasses via the blog.
ReplyDeleteSpeaking of which, this is a lot of fun:

I love it when they push back, but it's kinda worrying to think this guy has been going thru inner pain about it all for something like 72 hours. Still, he does the rant well and almost makes it sound important instead of somebody's petty SIWOTI neurosis.
I'd appreciate a judgment on it all, oh high priest Iwnattos.
Mark E. Smith says: "Check the record, check the record, check the guy's track record." In the case of GPR, all I'd care about is what profit his reccie would have made for me.
ReplyDeleteI knock your own reccies sometimes, but you don't freak out like a bratty child about it, so I guess that shows superior character. Or maybe having picked FVI (um... and PEZ, RIO, BTO, FRG was that you or GT?) means you have the confidence to just tell the rest of the world to screw themselves.
To tell you the truth, you seem to do quite well with your producer recs.
I love how he insinuates that he's been on a trading floor. Or in a mine. I would think in both cases, just like in engineering or a mill (the end of my own experience), when you're regularly wrong you accept you'll be the target of extreme abuse.
And I appreciate your 30pp of newsletter. But maybe you should learn to type faster. :-)
